On 8th September 2021, the EU Tax Observatory held an online conference on the topic “European Banks in Tax Havens: Evidence and Countermeasures” with Giulia Aliprandi, Manon Aubry, Mona Baraké, Gunther Capelle-Blancard, Anne-Laure Delatte, Panayiotis Nicolaides and Thierry Philipponnat.
The conference was moderated by Gunther Capelle-Blancard. Our report “Have European Banks Left Tax Havens? Evidence from Country-by-Country Data” was presented by co-authors Mona Barake and Giulia Aliprandi, followed by presentations from panellists Manon Aubry, Anne -Laure Delatte and Thierry Philipponnat. The conference concluded with an exchange between the authors of the report, the panellists and the audience.
